I have decided that I will never again refer to this or any other trip we take as a vacation.

A vacation is when you can park your butt on a beach chair and sip a fruity cocktail while reading a good book (or celebrity gossip rags)!

Instead all trips will now be referred to as expeditions. Expeditions like the ones mountain climbers take to the top of Mt Everest. They will be called this because there is nothing relaxing about our travels (not that I’m complaining). They are physically, mentally and emotional stressful and draining and at the end of the day, around 7pm I’m ready to pass out but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I hope everyone can have an expedition like the ones that this little family takes. It might not be around the world but I think any trip you take with the people you love and when you are constantly exploring and discovering new things together, life will always be full and exciting!
